IANTD LEBANON FORUM
summer 2005
IANTD Lebanon held
its first annual IANTD Lebanon Forum at the Riviera Hotel on
Tuesday July 12, 2005 in the presence of 26 Instructors and the
National Director of IANTD in Lebanon.
The 26 Instructors
that attended the Forum were:
Elie Abiad,
Antoine Abou Jaoude, Ralph Abdel Jalil, Rami Al Khali, Wiebke
Bretting, Abed Dali,Eneo Guiliano De Fari, Bassam El Oud, Jean
Claude Helou, Elie Madi, Selim Mjaess, Nassir Saidi, Alain
Sassine, Gerard Ghammache, Carlos Rbeiz, Ali Zogheib, Makram
Boustany, Nabil Rizkallah, Hasan Jaaran, Sami Fares, Nicholas
Yazigi, Monica Jubeily, Oussama Mneimne, Ehsan Gharib and Pedro.
The main topics of
the forum were
- IANTD
Instructors meeting other IANTD Instructors in Lebanon.
- The Nitrox
Course and its benefit in the education of all new divers.
- The new
Elite Diver Course and its benefits to the regular divers.
- Standards
and procedures concerning all IANTD Instructors working in
different Diving facilities and Clubs.
- The safety
rules and regulations to be implemented and applied insuring
good global standards for all IANTD Instructors, reducing
incidents risks in all the centers affiliated with IANTD
Lebanon.
The Forum
was a success in all its aspects and IANTD Lebanon will
conduct 2 forums annually insuring that IANTD Instructors
are following all the changes and the new standards,
assuring that all Instructors are well introduced to each
other making IANTD Lebanon 1 Solid team.
